Fireplace Reconstruction questions, answered.

Can you match an existing brick or stone?

Almost always. We source reclaimed materials, hand-pick where possible and aim to make a rebuild look like it has always been there.

Do I need a structural opinion?

For wider openings or when removing a chimney breast, yes. We will tell you upfront if a structural engineer is needed and arrange one if you prefer.

Will my floor take a stove and slate hearth?

We assess the floor build-up at survey. Most suspended timber floors need bracing or a constructional hearth. We handle all of it.
